• Schedule: PRN, Nights (6:30pm - 7:00am)
• Hospital: Saint Thomas Hospitals (supporting 2 or more locations)
• Location Options: 
  • St. Thomas Midtown and West (Nashville, TN)
  • St. Thomas Rutherford and River Park (Murfreesboro, TN/ McMinnville, TN)
  • Statewide (travel to 3 or more locations)
• Premium Pay Rate: $25-$27/hr base rate

Join us in providing excellent care to our patients while learning a variety of skills across multiple units, in two or more locations. As a Float Pool Patient Care Tech, two years or more of direct care experience for adults within a hospital or acute care setting is required. Premium pay, paid training, and overtime available!

Responsibilities

Perform basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision.

• Aid with movement and placement of patients.
• Assist patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living.
• Report findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
• Document necessary records.
• Keep patient rooms clean, orderly, and maintain medical equipment.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Nurse Aide preferred.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
