Client Manager
Job Description
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Management of ongoing client service relationships for clients through regularly scheduled meetings and effective communications
- Maintain open and clear communication channels with Clients, Client IT Resources, and referring consultants
- 5 - 10% of time out of the office and overnight travel
- Communicate due dates, timelines and expectation to Clients and partners
- Identify problems, summarize and develop strategic solutions
- Install new Clients effectively utilizing resources to match Client needs
- Administer renewals including communicating appropriate contractual changes to supervisor
- Prepare draft employee communications for client approval
- Review processing reports with clients, emphasizing exceptions or indicated remediation
- Inform clients of ACA compliance developments
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with Client vendors / data sources
- Complete special projects and miscellaneous duties as assigned
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT:
- Remains informed regarding regulatory and product developments
- Expected to further education through compliance courses with intent to pursue an industry designation
TRAINING WILL INCLUDE:
- On-site ongoing training provided for all above duties
- Off-site training as required for continuing education requirements
CORE JOB OBJECTIVES:
- Establish effective working relationships with Internal Partners, Clients and Client vendors
- Demonstrate a “whatever it takes” attitude to ensure client satisfaction and to support key UnifyHR initiatives
- Work with Internal Partners, Clients and Carriers to ensure accurate and timely response to all outstanding issues in a manner that fosters mutual respect and teamwork
- Respond to communications and requests from all Clients and Partners by stated timeframes
- Project a professional image in action and appearance
- Consistently be on time for work, scheduled meetings and training classes
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALITIES:
- Minimum 3 years prior account management experience
- 4-year college degree or industry specific designation preferred
- Must obtain NAHU PPACA certification within 4 months following date of employment and retain licenses by meeting the continuing education requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
