ASCO Equipment has a career opportunity for a Warehouse Clerk - Shipping/Receiving Specialist in Tyler, Texas. The Warehouse Clerk & Shipping Specialists will be responsible for aiding the parts department in fulfilling shipping and stocking needs. The Warehouse Clerk will verify and keep detailed records of incoming and outgoing shipments of parts and more by managing the warehouse inventory orders and returns.
\n- Provide superior customer service with warm greetings and eagerness to help
- Ask questions to accurately identify machine make/model/serial numbers
- Investigate part needs and determine what additional parts would be needed
- Fulfil parts orders with in-stock inventory & place orders as needed to meet customers needs in a timely manner
- Accurately match orders with packing slips
- Collect customer payment information/POs and call on past due accounts
- Utilize resources, (online manuals, microfiche) to properly identify parts needed
- Maintain accurate parts inventory
- Receives daily shipments and maintains clear and accurate records
- Physically unpacks, examens and route incoming shipments
- Reports shortages, rejects damaged items and process returns or credits
- Accurately match orders with packing slips
- Operate lift truck/hand trucks to move materials to designated areas
- Operate stretch wrap bander and PB crimp tools
- Make pickups and deliveries to suppliers using company truck/van
- Must be able to pick up at least 50lbs
- Bilingual is a plus
