Doing what is right for the Warfighter is reflected in everything we do. We have an opportunity for a Configuration Manager to support our government customer at NAS Pax River in Lexington Park, MD. As the Configuration Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Performing configuration management processes throughout the lifecycle of the program, including base lining of hardware, software, and documentation; preparation of change control board packages; facilitation of change control meetings; and configuration audits
- Performing data management processes throughout the lifecycle of the program, including management of hundreds of Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) with thousands of deliveries
- Performing CM/DM inventory and CDRL deliverable processes and functions in CMPro
- Accurately maintaining and updating CMPro as the product matures
- Supporting data calls for CM/DM-related data
- Chairs the Configuration Control Board (CCB) and enacts changes as directed
- Plan and execute configuration management processes throughout the project lifecycle, including development, migration, deployment, and security
- Oversee the daily management of configuration items
Requirements
Education, Skills, and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics or Business Administration or a Bachelor’s in management information sciences is required
- 5 years of Configuration Management (CM) experience.
- 5 years of experience establishing and controlling the CM Audits, CM Library, Configuration Items (Cls), and baselines.
- 5 years of experience with Configuration Management Guidance in MIL-HDBK-61B and National Consensus Standard for Configuration Management in ANSI/EIA-649B.
- 5 years of experience performing scripting (JavaScript, VB Script, Python, LUA, etc.) as needed for software builds.
- 5 years of experience with multiple configuration management tools to include ClearCase, subversion, ClearQuest, JIRA, Razor, Accurev etc.
- 5 years of experience implementing and maintaining CMMI Level 3 and above.
- 5 years of expeience with ISO 9000 standards.
- Proficient in MS Office Applications, such as Word.
Security Clearance Requirements:
- This position requires U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Top Secret clearance. Selected candidate will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
