What You'll Do:
As our Network Administrator, you will be part of our corporate Information Technology team in our Lexington Park, MD office. In this diverse role, you will assist in network design, implementation, and maintenance, and provide network support across organizational operating systems. This a full-time, 100% on-site position.
Specific responsibilities will include (but won't be limited to):
- Maintain stable and consistent connectivity across all network computers
- Prepare, implement, and monitor disaster procedures and recovery
- Support, configure, maintain, and upgrade corporate users' networks and our in-house servers
- Install and integrate new server hardware and applications
- Support and administer third-party applications
- Ensure network security and connectivity
- Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and test for weaknesses
- Set up user accounts, permissions, and passwords
- Resolve problems reported by end user
- Define network policies and procedures
- Specify system requirements and design solutions
- Research and make recommendations on server system administration
Requirements
Who You Are:
The Network Administrator should have the following experience and qualifications:
- A bachelor's or associate's degree in a technical area of study is preferred
- A minimum of two years of experience as a Network Administrator
- The ability to configure Windows RADIUS servers
- Comprehensive knowledge of networking concepts and computing infrastructures
- Hands-on experience in networking, routing, and switching
- Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure
- Experience with firewalls, Internet VPN’s remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desired
- Ability to set up and configure server hardware
- Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies

Security Clearance Requirements:
- This position requires U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance to start. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.
