Lab Facilitator

Primary responsibility is to write reports, coordinate projects, monitor and verify records and databases, and enter new formulas and additives into our ERP system (Chempax).

• Assist the Chemists and assure that all lab functions relating to QC, Technical Support, product development and improvements are performed in a timely and professional manner and assure lab is kept in a neat and orderly condition.
• Perform some lab testing as required including assisting with QC, technical service, and other projects as assigned by the Technical Director.
• Documents information by maintaining logs, inputting information, and scanning appropriate documents for SDSs, TDSs, field samples, vendor samples.
• Resolves problems by examining and evaluating data; selecting corrective steps. Help QC technician to help resolve problems.
• Completes projects by assisting project team; attending and participating in group and project meetings.
• Maintains glassware by picking-up, cleaning, washing, and distributing.
• Keeps laboratory supplies ready by inventorying stock and ordering as needed within budget.
• Explores opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience in a chemical laboratory and ability to coordinate projects, write reports, and maintain lab supply
