We are hiring a Fitness Coordinator who will bring energy and enthusiasm to our team! The Fitness Coordinator is responsible for the development and management of fitness programs and measurement tools for seniors in the community.
How you will make an impact:
- Assisting Manager in monitoring the daily operations of the Aquatics Center.
- Assisting with the promotion, coordination, and implementation of fitness programs.
- Performing fitness assessments.
- Create an appropriate exercise program unique to the client's abilities and goals for both 1-1 and group personal training.
- Educating and evaluating members on proper exercise techniques while using gym equipment.
- Knowledge of basic water chemistry testing and teaching aquatic classes.
- Maintaining a clean aquatic area for members.
- Building relationships with residents and staff, encouraging physical activity.

What you will need:
- Associate’s degree in Health Education field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2 years of related work experience.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification.
- Experience in evaluating fitness programs for seniors is a plus.
- Knowledge of prescription, medications, and risk factors is essential.
- Current CPO Certification
