We design a range of women’s and children’s clothing made exclusively in Peru in small batches.

Job Description:
Our Santa Ynez shop is seeking an experienced retail manager for a part-time independent key holder sales position. This means that you will be the sole person overseeing the shop for your shift and you are expected to expertly interact and help with customers, process all sales and restock the floor (in addition to opening and closing the shop). Additionally, you will be responsible for keeping the shop presentable, educating customers about our brand and retaining new customers.
- Must have 3 years of retail experience and Shopify experience is a huge plus.
- Must have an outgoing, friendly but PROFESSIONAL personality.
- Must be reliable, punctual, self motivated and hospitable with customers. We want you to get excited about the product and want to tell our story!
- We expect a collaborative, growth-oriented mindset as everyone must work together smoothly to keep the shop running and open.
- Must be able to facilitate customer communication, capture sales and ensure a positive experience for customers.
- Organizational skills and tidiness is vital, as you are responsible for the shop being clean and stocked at all times.
- Must have experience with POS systems, we use Shopify.
- Must be willing and eager to learn new skills.
- Photography skills and appreciation of aesthetics are a huge plus.
- Basic social media skills/familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, etc. required. *We can train you on specific content needs for Asher Market's pages.
- Daytime Availability, from 11am-4pm at least 3 days a week, including at least one weekend day every week.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
