Ashfield Engage is seeking a hardworking and passionate QA analyst with technical experience to join its telephony team. This position will focus but it will not be limited to our telephony products and work to ensure all current and future telephony products are released at the best possible quality. The QA analyst will be required to run through telephony test plans as well as contribute to the creation of new test plan documentation. Refers to policies and practices for guidance. Test the telephony product suite in an Agile environment, coordinating with the Telephony team including business analysts, telephony developers, cloud systems engineers and client account coordinators and establishing a foundation and protocols. Review requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities Design, develop and execute automation scripts as applicable Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved Catalog and maintain test scenario library Present testing results and progress to key stakeholders Forward Plan the release windows and cycles across a portfolio Manage risks and resolves issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality Communicate release details and schedules to the Business as required Continually work towards making improvements in the release process Support Go-Live activities including the execution of the deployment Plans and checklists. Develop scripts and automation tools used to build, integrate, and deploy software releases to various platforms Maintain a release repository and manages key information such as build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification lists Follow Computer System Validation (CSV) process and participate in the CSV enhancement process Continuously evaluate and discover new technology solutions, including software testing tools to be able to provide an innovative point-of-view around new emerging technologies Must safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality by following the guidelines set forth in the Privacy and Security Rules of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) Provide on-call and after-hours coverage, as necessary. What do you need for this position? Bachelor’s degree or work related experience 3-5 years of experience in software testing/software quality role Strong knowledge of software development life cycle Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases Strong troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently within a quickly changing environment with strict deadlines; to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast paced environment Ability to summarize and present test results and progress to key stakeholders General PC knowledge including Microsoft Office working knowledge of QA testing software, QA methodologies, tools and processes Knowledge of System testing tools Any of the following is a plus: Five9 experience Knowledge of and analytics tools Professional certifications Experience working with validated systems Experience working with ServiceNow Cloud Platform technology Telephony experience Cloud based system experience About Ashfield Engage Ashfield Engage, part of Inizio, is a global leader in commercialization services for the healthcare industry.
