Position Summary:
ACU has an exciting opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in our Ashland, Kentucky headquarters. This position will provide administrative support to the President and senior management team which includes a variety of duties that must be handled with utmost confidentiality and discretion.
Job Responsibilities:
Interface with staff, management, Board members, vendors, and ACU visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
Accurately prepare Board reports, correspondence, manuals, spreadsheets, presentations, etc. utilizing a broad range of computer applications.
Onboard new hires which include completing I-9 certification, explaining benefit plans, assisting with benefit enrollment, and addressing ACU policies and procedures. Ensure employee terminations are processed in a timely manner.
Process ACUs bi-weekly payroll which includes the validation of employee timecards and transmission of deduction information with all benefit providers.
Function as subject matter expert on all employee benefit plans and assist with annual benefit open enrollment process. Verify all employee insurance premium billings prior to payment.
Coordinate the annual employee performance review process in HRIS including the implementation of salary changes due to annual merit increases.
Maintain all employee records in HRIS and coordinate employee leave request.
Act as coordinator for ACUs education reimbursement program.
Serve as facility coordinator which includes scheduling all building repairs/maintenance, ordering supplies, vetting potential vendors, etc. Maintain and organize ACUs central files.
Event planning and any other duties as requested by the President or senior management.
Education & Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Some college courses preferred.
