Product Engineer, Casegoods
What Will You Do?
The Product Engineer will take product engineering ownership of a furniture product throughout the entire lifecycle of the item from “GO” status to discontinuation. The Product Engineer takes the design concept and completes engineering drawings, mock-ups of the product, the initiation of Engineering Introduction Order (EIO), Bill of Material (BOM) structures, Customer Service data, Product knowledge information, first production and all cost reduction methods throughout product lifecycle.
What Do You Need?
- Associate's Degree in the Engineering field, Required
- One year experience in Engineering related field using 3-D modeling software, Required
- One year of part-time internship, preferred
- Knowledge of the Furniture manufacturing processes
- Knowledge of document management system
- Experience in 3-D Modeling
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
