At our San Diego location we are renowned for developing both deep ultraviolet (DUV) lithography light sources and next generation extreme ultraviolet (EUV) light sources.We are a multinational company with over 70 locations in 16 countries, headquartered in Veldhoven, the Netherlands.
We are currently seeking a Senior Specialist Financial analyst to join our Corporate Real Estate (CRE) Facilities team in San Diego. Responsible for analytical, coordination and facilitation support such as track vendor and contract spending, financial projections and spend rates.
Role and responsibilities
- Manages facilities operations budget to assistin providing a safe work environment for employees, visitors andcustomers.
- Planning and Programming oversight for long-range management of CAPEX and OPEX spending.
- Reviews business plan submissions; reviews proposedbest business practices; analyzes operating practices and processes.
- Conducts cost/savings analysis; reviews, developsand recommends facility management policies; and provides vision directlyimpacting operational customers.
- Responsible for multi-year execution plans andsupports the development and recommends through the annual development.
- Manages and coordinates the development,presentation, justification and expenditure tracking of budgeting.
- Incumbent ensures funding is adequate, data callsare answered, and budgets are submitted on time to support ASML requirementsfor facilities support.
- Presents recommendations and presentations tosenior management.
- Proactively communicates issues and manages thesolution paths.
- Ensures excellent cross-functional communication(through effective meetings, email, and other means) to ensure coordination.
- Works closely with ASML’s finance, procurementand accounts payable debts for budgetdevelopment, execution oversight, invoicing, payment and unfundedrequirements support.
- Responsible for tracking and monitoringfacilities and general building maintenance programs.
- Provides feedback on ways to improve the facilitiesproject planning.
- Performs reviews on key developments, KPIs anddrives necessary changes into the Facilities Process and Procedures orother applicable areas.
- Make decisions based on experience due to the lackof existing guidelines and outlined procedures by using judgment andingenuity in interpreting the intent of the guidelines that do exist andin developing applications to specific areas of work.
- Ability to carefully review service provider/vendorcontracts, verify quality and work completion has occurred.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and experience
- Requires a Bachelor’s Degree or higher with five (5) years’experience.
- Requiresstrong skills in contract management, development and improvement of processes,establishment of metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

- Good meeting practices (proper attendance,agendas, start/stop times, minutes, actions, follow-through).
- Must be a team player, Proactive self-starter;self-motivator; willing to do what it takes to get the job done driven toprovide the highest level of customer service with a “can-do, no job too bigor small” attitude, work under deadlines, manage multiple priorities andprojects under pressure.
- Exercise judgement and discretion with regardsto sensitive and confidential matters.
- Must be available for occasional overtime andweekend hours as needed.
- Professional behavior and appearance at alltimes.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
