- Alongside driving the activities of your team you will work closely together with the other managers within the Supplier Operations departmentto actively contribute to further develop our roadmap and participate in structural improvement projects further optimizing our processes.
Role and responsibilities
- This role is a working team lead role within operational procurement. On top of managing complex accounts, you will also be responsible for supervising and leading a team of tactical buyers within your department.
- You will drive people and process performance and development and secure continuous service for internal and external customers (eg factories, suppliers, sourcing & supply chain(SS&C), customer supply chain, product lifecycle management, category, logistics, and quality).
- You will act on operational and tactical level in management teams of the S&SC Management department and drive goals in line with the S&SC vision.
- You will coordinate and manage operational annual plans for the San Jose factory.
- You will build and maintain a network of in- and external stakeholders/partners and represent the organization.
- You will evaluate organizational design for own functional discipline, (work)processes and systems and initiate and implement changes and improvements.
- You coach and continuously develop employees.
Education and experience
- Relevant Bachelor degree (e.g. Business Administration, Supply Chain, etc.) or equivalent experience.
- 6-8 years relevant experience in a complex supplier oriented environment.
- Knowledge as well as a proven track record of ERP systems, preferably Oracle.
- People management and previous procurement or supply chain management experience.
- Excellent social and communication skills and demonstrated ability to coach and develop employees.
- Strong data analysis and problem solving abilities.
- Knowledge of lean principles and continuous improvements methodology.
