About the Role
Social media is an incredibly powerful communications channel. As a Social Media Manager you should always be looking for new ways to excite and connect with our customers, engaging them with our content, site and products. As a member of the Social Team, you will be a champion for ASOS’s social channels, ensuring we consistently publish great native content, developing our creative approach and focusing on innovation on existing and emerging platforms. You will work closely with the Senior Managers and Head of Social to develop and maintain all content that is in partnership with our strategic brand partners i.e.. Nike, Estee Lauder Group and Klarna. You should always be thinking about impact, results and learnings - everything we do should be with the aim to contribute to the social (and therefore Brand Experience) objectives, in a measurable way whilst generating brand heat.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Contribute to a global centre of excellence for social media activity that delivers tangible benefits for both our customers and our business, focusing on:
- Telling the ASOS brand story via social content and experiences
- Creative activations across our social channels, focusing on major 3rd party brand campaigns and audience moments throughout the year
- New and innovative opportunities on social media that we’re able to develop with our strategic brand partners and monetise
- Providing guidance, support and best practice information to the AMG team and brand clients, ensuring we set the highest possible standard for social content across all our channels
- Leading the development of creative social content/experiences tin partnership with our strategic brand partners
- Work collaboratively with the AMG team to deliver world class, highly innovative and inherently social campaigns.
- Represent the social team in cross-function meetings and being the face of social across the wider ASOS business and external brands
- Supporting our culture by driving Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategies.
Qualifications

- An enthusiastic team player with a genuine obsession with social media.
- Substantial experience creating brilliant social media content for brands.
- Harbouring a real interest in social media platform changes and news, committed to exploring how ASOS might maintain a first-move advantage on each channel.
- Impeccable organisation skills and the ability to keep projects moving and ensure deadlines are met.
- Ability to act as an ambassador for the ASOS brand on shoots with partner brands and external agencies.
- Strong numerical know-how for reporting and analysing stats.
- An interest in fashion, trends and style and the cultural icons our 20somehting audience love.
- A passion for the ASOS brand.
