We are seeking a high energy professional with Power industry experience, spanning the power generation, transmission and distribution and distributed energy management space to position, differentiate and evangelize AspenTech’s market-leading Digital Grid Management solutions to the market. The Industry Marketing Director for Power is a high impact global position that has “go-to-market” as well as “market enablement” responsibility to drive and support business growth in the Power industry. Your Impact Drive industry market strategy development, including market feedback and needs prioritization, for the Power market Craft clear and compelling industry-relevant thought leadership and solution messaging that reflect the latest industry trends, and differentiates AspenTech offerings Evangelize AspenTech’s story in the Power industry by becoming a trusted spokesperson at industry conferences, marketing events and in the trade and business media. Elevate AspenTech’s market presence leveraging your industry knowledge and network. Enable successful marketing campaigns with compelling content (marketing collateral, whitepapers, web, video and social content), working closely with a cross-functional campaign team Develop sales training and resources to assist sales hit targets by supporting customer initiatives, addressing business challenges, and accelerating value realization Support sales engagement with strategic customers Identify best practices through customer research and case studies Work collaboratively with Product Marketing and Product Management leads to ensure solution area messaging is representative of relevant industry dynamics What You'll Need Bachelor's Degree in technical discipline required, MBA a plus. 15 years of professional experience with a background in marketing and Power space. Successful history in product and technology marketing, including experience with worldwide marketing campaigns. Self-directed, highly motivated, detail-oriented, charismatic, personable. Excellent presentation, communication, collaboration and analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to understand and convey complex information in a clear and concise manner. Ability and willingness to travel at least 15% (including internationally). Preferred - An understanding of new technologies, including: SaaS, AI, ML, Cloud
