The Role Salesforce Solutions Architect is responsible for designing scalable, sustainable sales and marketing business solutions. You will collaborate with sales operations, marketing, deal desk, project management to develop, and deploy salesforce solutions. You will assist in driving digital transformation across sales processes. You will serve as a focal point between the subject matter experts, SFDC developers and the IT team. You will partner closely with sales, marketing business process owners and IT team to deliver strategic goals. Your Impact Responsible for technical architecture to design robust, efficient, and secure solutions. Understand the long-term business vision to optimize the Marketing and Sales processes executed within the Salesforce.com ecosystem. Lead the relaunch of Salesforce CPQ and Conga CLM solution design and implementation. Partners with Marketing to maintain optimized Lead to Campaign processes and data. Lead the design application integrations that enable key business processes including Sales Compensation, Contracting and Reporting. Develops a strategic IT roadmap in partnership with business and IT Leaders. Drive an in-depth architectural review of the platform including Salesforce CPQ. Lead project teams through the technical design, estimation and project planning and deployment of changes to the Salesforce.com platform. Identify and remediate technical debt within the platform including customizations, Lightning Experience implementation, integrations, and managed packages. Defines the Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) for the platform: Security, Data Quality, Code Quality, Data Retention and Scalability. Collaborate with IT integration design teams to optimize integration services that leverage solutions including Informatica and Mulesoft. Define opportunities and define methods to accelerate the integration of business process and data migrations from M&A activity. Contribute to the analysis and resolution of any security related issues. Review and approve designs and changes to be performed by extended team members. Work closely with IT leadership and functional SMEs or leaders to scale and continuously improve business processes. Provide guidance to SFDC system administrators, business analysts and data migration specialist to resolve service requests. Mentor team members to develop optimum skills and capability for growth. What You'll Need Bachelor’s Degree and 7 years of experience as an IT professional. Direct experience designing and implementing Salesforce CPQ Direct experience designing and implementing Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) solutions in concert with CPQ Direct experience with sales compensation planning applications integrated with Salesforce to enable compensation planning and quota development, compensation visibility and reporting, compensation quota achievement and similar use cases. Strong understanding of core business processes and industry best practices in lead-to-opportunity, quote-to-cash, support operations and master data management. Experience in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, triggers, and mobile applications, SOQL, SFDC Reports, Data loader. Experience evaluating, implementing, and maintaining AppExchange managed packages. Proven ability to quickly reverse engineer existing, legacy configurations and code to solve future problems. Prior M&A Integration experience. Preferred: Salesforce.com certification for either Certified Application Architect or Certified System Architect. Preferred: Salesforce CPQ 301 Certified. Preferred: MS or graduate degree. Independent worker, self-guided and proactive. Team player, comfortable in a Hybrid waterfall, agile/scrum environment.
