What are the responsibilities and job description for the Focus Counselor- Bithlo position at Aspire Health Partners?
As a Senior Youth Counselor with the F.O.C.U.S. program at Aspire Health Partners, your job purpose will be to provide a multitude of essential functions to plan and implement prevention therapy and counseling to children, adolescents, adults and families in the home, office, neighborhood centers, and schools settings. The F.O.C.U.S. program works in a collaborative partnership with the Neighborhood Center for Families located throughout Orange County, Florida. Counseling services are provided on a variety of issues including - but are not limited to - depression, anger, school difficulties, self-esteem, marital issues, motivation, trauma, anxiety, and substance abuse. Under the supervision of a licensed professional, counselors will develop case plans, perform psychosocial assessments through interviewing of clients, family and others, provide therapeutic counseling to clients, and assess the needs of the client and family to refer them to appropriate support services and programs. Most importantly, all functions must be completed while maintaining high standards of ethical and professional conduct while adhering to agency policies and procedures.

- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Registration driver's license record in accordance with the underwriting guidelines set by Aspire insurance company as described in the AHP Corporate Transportation Policy 3.9.1
- Master's Degree in a Human Services field
