We are seeking a MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST in Wausau, Wisconsin at Aspirus Wausau Hospital – Endocrinology Clinic. The Medical Receptionist is responsible for greeting, registering, and assisting patients in a professional manner, scheduling appointments, obtaining, and maintaining registration records and answering phone calls.
Hours: Supplemental; 0.5 FTE or 40 hours per pay period. Day shift, variable hours.
Experience/Qualifications/Licensure
- Knowledge of office procedures normally acquired through completion of a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- One year of business office, customer service or healthcare experience preferred.
- Computer experience and basic computer keyboarding skills required.
- Knowledge of medical terminology desirable.
