We are seeking a UNIVERSAL CAREGIVER in Medford, Wisconsin at Aspirus County Gardens Assisted Living. The Universal Caregiver, under the general supervision of the Manager is responsible for the duties assigned at Aspirus Country Gardens, a residential care apartment complex. The Universal Caregiver is responsible for daily operations and overall care of the tenants. Duties may include cooking, cleaning, laundry, activities, bathing, and personal care, and taking tenants to appointments and activities. Administer physician prescribed medications under the supervision of a pharmacist or registered nurse.
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
- Current BLS certification required.
- CBRF Medication Training Certificate, Fire and Safety Training, First Aid, High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in an RCAC or CBRF or skilled nursing facility preferred.
- General knowledge of the normal aging process preferred.
- A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record that meets current insurance company’s standard for insurability.
Hours: Part-time, Evening/Night shift, every other weekend & holiday. 48 hours per pay period. Benefits package available.
