Aspis, LLC, is expanding our team. We are in search of qualified candidates who have a passion for HR. As a Recruiter at Aspis Consulting, you will be a key contributor to our talent acquisition efforts, ensuring that we attract and hire top-notch professionals to support our company's growth and success. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process, identifying qualified candidates, and facilitating their seamless integration into our organization. Your ability to build strong relationships, utilize innovative sourcing strategies, and leverage technology will be critical to your success in this role.
Specific tasks may include:
- Conduct full-cycle recruitment activities, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selecting qualified candidates for a variety of positions within Aspis Consulting.
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers and business leaders to understand their staffing needs, develop effective recruitment strategies, and establish clear job requirements.
- Utilize multiple sourcing channels, such as job boards, social media platforms, professional networks, and referrals, to identify potential candidates with the right skills and experience.
- Review resumes and applications, conduct initial phone screens, and assess candidates' qualifications and cultural fit for specific roles.
- Conduct in-depth interviews, both in person and via video conference, to evaluate candidates' technical skills, interpersonal abilities, and overall suitability for the organization.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers, ensuring a smooth and efficient recruitment process for all parties involved.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS), ensuring data integrity and compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Provide a positive candidate experience by communicating effectively, setting clear expectations, and providing timely feedback throughout the recruitment process.
- Collaborate with the HR team to develop and implement effective onboarding programs for new hires, ensuring a seamless transition into their roles and the organization.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging recruitment technologies to continuously improve the recruitment process and enhance candidate quality.
Education Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Human Resource Management, Business, or equivalent relevant experience
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience (minimum 3 years) as a recruiter or talent acquisition specialist, preferably within the consulting or IT industry.
- Demonstrated success in managing end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection.
- Proficiency in utilizing various sourcing techniques, such as social media recruiting, Boolean searches, and online professional networks.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, ensuring compliance throughout the recruitment process.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and stakeholders at all levels.
- Outstanding organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Results-oriented mindset, with a track record of meeting recruitment targets and delivering high-quality talent.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other HR software applications.
Desired Skills
- Human resources certifications are not required but a plus such as SHRM or HRCI certs.
- Experience in Government recruiting is a plus but not required.
- You must successfully pass a reference check and background check conducted by Aspis.
- You must successfully pass a background investigation for contract employment conducted by the United States government.
- You must be able to commute to the designated job site with less than 1 day's notice.
