We are a small to mid-size, multi-discipline architectural/engineering firm specializing in commercial-type infrastructure and facility design for the United States Air Force, specifically at Vance Air Force Base. Our office is growing our services and currently has multiple openings, in a variety of architectural and engineering disciplines: Site Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Engineering, Architectural Engineering or Architecture. Responsibilities
- Coordinating with in-house professional staff (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and architect) and in-house construction personnel.
- Performing and delivering technical reviews of data deliverables, including design and construction documents.
- Gather and analyze project data and presenting information in various facets.
- Graphic preparation and analysis using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Providing cost and schedule analysis.
- Assisting in planning, coordinating and facilitating project meetings and site visits.
- Assisting with performing QC oversight of field and programmatic activities.
- Office construction administration including review of shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and coordinate with construction management, through the construction phase of the project.
- Attend and engage in meetings with clients, owners, contractors, etc. in a positive and productive manner.
- Be a motivated self-started with good work ethic to complete job duties efficiently.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Applicants must have earned a bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university by the hiring date in civil, mechanical, electrical, fire protection, or architectural engineering from an accredited university is required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident, due to contract requirements
- Must be able to pass a background check and obtain a government issued common access card
- 2 Years of experience is preferred, but on the job training is available for recently graduated applicants.
- Completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering exam is a preferred for applicants with an engineering degree.
- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, Revit, AutoCAD Civil 3D, MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe is preferred.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
