As the M&A Director in ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems you would be responsible for managing M&A projects from start to finish in the largest division in the ASSA ABLOY Group. The division has direct presence in about 35 countries today, and the strategy is to continue to expand and grow through acquisitions.
It is safe to say that M&A is part of who we are, making the position as M&A Director a key role in the organization. You will be based in our office in Charlotte, North Carolina and report to VP Business Development. Extensive travel will be required.
About The Position
Your area of expertise will include project management, analytics, evaluations, research, due diligence and complex negotiations, as well as conducting market surveys of existing and strategically important markets in order to identify and present business development opportunities of all sizes and all over the globe with potential to drive growth.
In order to succeed you will need to closely collaborate with business leaders throughout the organization, ensuring that necessary and timely connections are established with potential targets. Further you will be guiding the strategic discussions and take the dialogue all the way to fulfilled acquisitions.

About You
We see you as a curious and highly collaborative leader with a genuine passion to actively help guide the team towards ambitious goals under preset project deadlines. Working with people all across the globe you need to have profound interpersonal skills, be highly dynamic and have the ability to quickly build and successfully maintain relationships.
To succeed in this role you need to have strong business acumen and an analytical and logic mindset, together with excellent understanding of financial models, issues and aspects of acquisition projects. We also believe you need to have at least 5 years of experience from working with business development and M&A, touching on all the steps in the process.
High proficiency in English, written and spoken, is a must, this being our business language.
