Job Overview:
The Multifamily Administrator (MFA) works closely with the Manager of Multifamily Operations (MMO) to provide support in his direction of the multifamily team and management of a portfolio of multifamily properties. The MFA will also assist the multifamily team with overflow tasks as requested and positional coverage when team members are out of the office. The Multifamily Administrator is a full-time (8a-5p M-F), in-person, salaried position. Travel within the KC Metro will be required on occasion.
Responsibilities:
- Guarantee personal punctuality and attendance consistently to build a culture of trust and secure company reputation
- Provide superior interactions with clients and tenants
- Interface with tenants on tenant concerns (maintenance, leasing or payment related) and provide follow up details to MMO for action.
- Administer leases (send notices, termination letters, and security deposit dispositions)
- Draft official documentation and informational letters to tenants at MMO's request
- Update and keep current all rent rolls and tenant information in property management software with a diligent and detailed approach
- Schedule and keep accurate records of maintenance items and vacant unit turns yet to be completed
- Monitor collection status, contact tenants with collection issues and advise MMO of collection efforts that may require additional action
- Interface with utility companies to start or stop service and address issues at MMO's request
- Assist in transition of new properties under AMG’s management under MMO’s direction
- Assist Property Management teams with small-scale overflow tasks
- Provide general support to MMO
Qualifications:
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel, in particular)
- Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills, and ethical mindset
