Assisted Living Facility IN Queens County is looking for an experience Administrator.

Administrator Responsibilities-
- Oversees facility and staff operations including but not limited to business planning, patient flow, budget development and other fiscal operations, maintaining local, state, and federal licenses, as well as building maintenance in compliance with state regulations
- Ensures exceptional resident total regimen care and with appropriate regard for residents’ needs in accordance with state operational standards
- Maintains resident retention by working with residents and their families, dealing with any issues that arise, supporting sales initiatives, ensuring the delivery of best quality care for residents through the development of resident programs
- Executes disciplinary action up to and including termination for employees with unsatisfactory performance
- Maintains a professional positive environment toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers
- Education and Experience
- (5) Years of related experience as in a managerial capacity at an assisted living, nursing home, skilled nursing or senior living facility
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Management/Health Care Administration or related field
- Requirements
- Knowledgeable of the requirements for providing care and supervision appropriate to individuals with medical and/or mental health needs
- Knowledge of and ability to conform to the applicable state laws, rules and regulations
- Dedication to serve individuals with medical and mental health needs with compassion and customer service
- Flexibility to perform various duties in service to the residents, the ability to work a flexible schedule including occasional local travel, evenings, weekends, and “on call” hours
Preferences
· MBA with a healthcare focus or MHA with gerontology focus or other related field
- More than 5 years of increasingly responsible operations management experience
- Hospitality or customer service experience
- Experience working with individuals that have medical and mental health ailments
- Desired Skills
- Supervisory and operation management
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle work under pressure
- Strong communication and capability of interacting with residents’ of different mental and medical capacities
- Excellent organizational and rational business acumen
