Homeside Properties, an Associa Company, is actively seeking a Facilities Custodian to work full-time (40 hrs./wk., Monday - Friday) at a high-rise condominium in the Buckhead area of Atlanta. Custodians are generally responsible for performing basic cleaning, organizing, and other housekeeping and maintenance tasks on building, equipment, facilities, and grounds, as well as minor maintenance repairs.
Essential job functions:
- Responsible for the care and general maintenance of the building and grounds.
- Thoroughness and commitment to ensuring spaces are ready for the next day, including trash removal, straightening, and rearranging of furniture, and wiping surfaces as needed.
- Sweeping and mopping of floors, as well as vacuuming carpets.
- Daily cleaning and sanitizing of bathrooms, library, fitness center and laundry facilities.
- Restock consumable items such as soap, paper products, etc.
- Cleaning of mirrors and windows as needed.
- Completes all minor repairs related to lighting, grounds, cleaning, plumbing, locks, painting, etc.
- Oversees the move in/out process of the building.
- Monitor contractors working in building to ensure they are following building polices, including but not limited to protecting floors and walls in common areas, and working within building hours.
- Oversee the inventory of the janitorial and maintenance supplies. This includes, but is not limited to, light bulbs, HVAC filters, thermostats, etc. Notify manager of items needed to maintain a standard of supplies in the building.
- Oversee HVAC filter changes three times a year, and the maintenance required for this project.
- Responsible for the care of all maintenance equipment. This includes, but is not limited to, the pressure washer, leaf blower, wet/dry vac, drills and other hand/power tools, fans, vacuums, dollies, etc.

Requirements:
- High school diploma High School Diploma or GED Required
- Minimum 1-3 years' experience in janitorial, general grounds or buildings maintenance
- Ability to work independently
- Professional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.).
- Professional customer service skills.
- May be required to lift and/or move items weighing up to 25 lbs. Position requires ability to climb ladders, and other physical demands such as, but not limited to, kneeling, standing, lifting, pushing, sitting, etc.
