Job Description
Ideal candidate will be responsible for blowing / sweeping walkways and sport courts, removing litter and debris from common areas, emptying trash receptacles and filling pet stations, inspecting amenities and reporting any issues to the Site Manager.
As needed" activities may include painting, pressure washing, cleaning, delivering notices, assisting in event preparation, and other general maintenance / groundskeeping items.
This is a 20 hour per week position, but scheduling is flexible.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Assists management in achieving and maintaining outstanding interior and exterior common area cleanliness and maintaining facilities.
- Removes refuse and trash from common areas.
- Maintains Association assets by cleaning, painting, patching, etc.
- Operates power equipment as necessary.
- All employees are expected to comply to safety standards and demonstrate safe work habits.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Must have basic interpersonal skills; ability to work in the general public and communicate with co-workers and customers.
- Must be able to remember and follow directions in performing daily maintenance tasks.
- Able to reason, analyze information and events and apply judgment to solve problems
- Ability to work outdoors, in all conditions, often for extended periods of time
- Physically capable of working while bending, stooping, kneeling in all weather conditions.
- Able to operate small equipment such as power washer, wet vac, blower
- REQUIRED : Must have a valid Driver's License and be able to produce a driving record with a minimum of 3 years of driving history in good standing.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE :
- High School Diploma or GED
- Some HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance repairs, interior / exterior maintenance, carpentry and painting experience a plus but not required.
WORK HOURS :
- Part time 20 hours
- A minimum of 3 days per week is required, but scheduling is flexible.
