What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pickleball Pro position at Associa?
Rancho La Quinta Country Club (“RLQCC) is looking for an experienced and certified Pickleball Pro responsible for planning and implementing instructional program including lessons and clinics.
Pickleball Teaching Pro will assist Director with managing all Club events which include but not limited to tournaments, socials, round-robins and holiday play. Pickleball Teaching Pro will assist in all assigned programs to foster a healthy environment for players of all levels and provide leadership and energy to make the pickleball courts successful.
Pickleball Teaching Pro will report directly to Director of Racquet Sports and attend all required meetings and assist in shop as needed.
Requirements:Duties include but are not limited to:
- Implement on court teaching programs including lessons and clinics
- Ensure Pickleball courts are well-kept and clean at all times, following the club schedule for court washing and fence washing
- Ensuring Pickleball seating areas are always kept clean and free of dust
- Assist in Tennis Shop when scheduled
- Assist Director with calendar of events
- Ensure company safety protocols are followed
Skills, Qualities and Experience:
- Certified Pickleball Pro
- Three years teaching experience
- Professional, punctual, positive, strong work ethic
- Clear communicator with membership and staff
- Team player with great motivational skills
