Associated Agents Group, Inc. is looking for a new team member! We are looking for secretary/administrative assistant who is looking to join a growing insurance agency. As a broker, we work with many different companies to find our clients the best package for them. We don’t work for the insurance companies; we work for our clients. By being able to shop and compare prices and coverages for an insured, we can help our clients find insurance that they have confidence in.
This is a part time job at 20 hours per week, with opportunity to work full-time with full benefits in the future.
Job Description:
You will be responsible for assisting our main receptionist with their duties that include the following:
· Answer incoming phone calls and route to appropriate agent
· Generate certificates of insurance and appropriate documents for clients using agency software
· Assist agents with all types of client servicing
· File client paperwork and update client files
· Follow up with clients to update billing and receive payments
· Call clients to collect outstanding bills
Qualifications –
· Outstanding Verbal Communication Skills
· Excellent data entry and proofreading skills
· Ability to prioritize and multitask
· Previous office experience helpful
· Ability to learn quickly (experience in the insurance industry is helpful, but not necessary)
· Willingness to work hard and have fun
