If you have adult programming experience and a fundamental knowledge of ballroom, salsa, Associated Recreation Council (ARC) has a role for you as an Adult Dance Instructor at Ballard Community Center. This is a part-time weekday evening position starting September 2023.
ARC, in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, is looking for a dynamic Adult Dance Instructor to share their talents with the community. Ballard Community Center is hiring an Adult Dance Instructor who is able to teach adults the foundation and fundamentals of ballroom, salsa and other dances if possible.
We value promoting a fun positive atmosphere. Being a place where people can make friends and build community while learning together. We are looking for an instructor who is knowledgeable in their area of expertise. But also knows that participants leaving with a smile on their face, is the top priority, learning, while important is secondary.
Location: Ballard Community Center is at 6020 28th Ave NW in Seattle
Pay range: $22.00 - $23.50 per hour DOE
Adult Dance Instructor duties and responsibilities:
WORK AUTHORIZATION | SECURITY CLEARANCE (IF APPLICABLE)
Eligibility to work within the United States and background check required.
Willingness to obtain CPR certification
