Account Services Manager

Essential Functions

• Monitors workflow and department processes to ensure production and quality goals are met.
• Develop, track, and report on team results
• May assist with the development of strategy
• Ensures compliance for all team processes.
• Provides assistance to the team by answering daily questions, providing ongoing developmental training to team members, encouraging self-directed research, and encouraging a positive team atmosphere.
• Assists with budget preparation and supports revenue and budget goals.
• Interviews and selects candidates, conducts performance management, and fosters employee development.
• Consults with management to improve effectiveness and efficiency of workflow, communicates trends and escalated issues as appropriate, and takes necessary steps to act on identified issues.
• Manage new client implementation and existing client business, interfacing with appropriate areas/individuals to ensure objectives are met.
• Oversees all aspects of policy administration, may include underwriting of applications, issuance and declination of coverage, review of problem files, mid-term change requests and premium collection.

Requirements

• College degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Prior insurance industry experience required and supervisory experience preferred.
• Appropriate license must be obtained if necessary for position.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with internal and external customers.
• Demonstrated organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
• Detail oriented to ensure the effective coordination of activities.
• Proven analytical and problem solving skills to resolve customer service and departmental issues.

Salary Ranges from $50,000-$60,000 (Commensurate with experience)
