Job Description
This job is responsible for working with the Supervisors and assisting in training and developing the team, monitoring production performance, ensuring production and quality controls are met while adhering to the work instructions for the area of responsibility
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor the quantitative and qualitative achievements of the team and provides recommendations to supervisor associate training opportunities
- Motivate the team to use knowledge and skills to achieve the shared goals
- Lead team in a motivating manner so group members function in a goal - oriented manner
- Drive performance within the team to ensure organizational goals are attained
- Manage work- flow within area of responsibility
- Utilize expertise, their peers, influence, and/or creativeness to formulate an effective team
- Inspire team by creating an environment that promotes positive communication, encourages bonding of team members, and demonstrates flexibility
- Conduct training of team members to maximize their potential
- Conduct DICE meetings and Tech Talks in absence of supervisor
- Participate in continuous improvement and team building activities
- Identify and assist in the development of associates
- Ensure team is cross functional in job related functions both with own department and outside of department to ensure flexible work force during business shifts.
- Perform tasks assigned by the department leadership
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to use a personal computer and enter data
- Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
