Home Care Agency has an immediate opening for a full time Home Care Supervisor in which the primary responsibility will be conducting assessment, training and supervision of caregiver staff. Individual must possess multi-tasking capabilities, able to operate independently without supervision, take initiative to learn and ability to handle stress and meet deadlines.
Attributes Requirements:
- Good computer skills including MS Office, especially Excel, Word
- Likes people, has a pleasant demeanor and has a positive attitude
- Have a valid driver’s license and ability to commute from one client to the other
- Possess good phone and communication skills
- At least 2 years of supervisory skills/ managing a team is preferred
- Have a CNA license is preferred or equivalent
- Have industry knowledge is preferred*
Job Description:
· Carry out admission of new clients and complete thorough assessment of new clients
· Perform reassessments of existing clients every 30 days or as often as needed especially when any concern arises
· Conduct supervisory visits in client homes on a consistent schedule
· Ensures appropriate caregiver staff to cover existing and new cases as they come in
· Performs 24x7 on-call coordinator duties as needed -- estimated at one to two weeks per month.
· Adhere to all agency policies and procedures
· Learn and help maintain contact management or scheduling software
· Perform hands on caregiver training in client’s home and in the office
· Perform client care or act a floater when needed
· Assist with client satisfaction surveys
· Direct caregivers to clients' locations and perform introductory visits and meet and greets
· Handle incoming/outgoing calls/ mail
· Assist Recruiting Manager in some capacity -- hiring, training, retaining employees
· Develops and follows a clear and defined process of recruiting, screening, training, and hiring quality caregivers.
· Maintain office environment -- clean, neat, and organized
· Set good example and role model to all peers and reporting staff
