Support the maintenance and health of the operational Stargate system, including Kubernetes cluster administration and monitoring. Work with AIS Corp IT, customer counterparts at the 55th Wing, and the broader RC-135 domain to maintain the status of program-related infrastructure.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Responsible for the operational maintenance, support, and upgrades for operating systems and servers

Under general supervision, performs software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages

Schedules installations and upgrades and maintains them in accordance with established IT policies and procedures

Monitors and tunes the system to achieve optimum performance levels.

Ensures data/media recoverability by implementing a schedule of system backups and database archive operations. Implements and promotes standard operating procedures.

Conducts hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.

Maintains network infrastructure and compliance, including all hardware and software

Responsible for RHEL and Windows Server 2012 updates, patching and daily monitoring of each of the NSANet servers

Responsible for daily monitoring of the Elastic Search cluster on NSANet

Responsible for Kubernetes cluster administration and monitoring

Administer account/access per policies set by Offutt ISSM

Support routinely loading mission collection data from various platforms

Mission Data Loading & Data Flow monitoring

Assist Windows & Linux users with Java configuration and troubleshooting

Primary Technical POC for operational System Security Plan (SSP)

Responsible for SSP maintenance and coordination with ISSO/ISSM

Required Education & Skills:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, a related field of study, or relevant experience.

8 years experience supporting SIGINT mission collection, processing & analytics, preferably by virtue of former military experience

2 years of Administration experience with relevant systems

2 years RHEL 7.0/8.0 and MS Windows 10 Administration

DoD IAT Level I certification (e.g. Security )

2 years Bash Scripting

2 years of Network architecture and IT infrastructure configuration knowledge to include switches, cabling, and cable termination

Experience with containerization technologies (eg, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)
