ABOUT THE POSITION
The Videographer & Digital Media Producer is a script-to-screen producer who develops high quality digital media assets needed for the heavy equipment training programs. The ideal candidate is proficient in all aspects of video production: scriptwriting, videography, audio, lighting, greenscreen and video editing. The DMP is a thoughtful, creative mind who tells the video stories for technical, sales and leadership training programs that meet both internal and customer-facing objectives. The ideal candidate will stay abreast of technology and media trends and has a passion for developing engaging learning content that leads to world-class product support.
Key Deliverables
- Manage video and audio production through the entire lifecycle, from initial concept through pre-production, production, distribution, and subsequent data analysis, including creating storyboards, writing scripts, and shot lists
- Audiovisual assets include, but are not limited to, photography, videography, audio, voiceover, and illustrations, which are to be used in e-Learning modules, interactive videos, newsletters, and online video channels
- Collaborate with the training team, instructional designers, and Subject Matter Experts to develop production strategies
- Edit existing video and audio content, and guide any video editor or sourced projects
- Manage the video training content libraries and serve as administrator for the enterprise video channel and other digital channels
- Produce deliverables throughout the entire production process ensuring projects are completed on schedule, and meet communication, and branding standards
- Manage multiple projects in a highly organized manner with the ability to be flexible with changing priorities
- Demonstrate flexible thinking and openness to feedback as needed to ensure the final design products match the scope of each project
- Ensure the proper approval of artwork/music copyright and image credit lines before publishing each project
- Manage and oversee the video studio and maintain all recording equipment in functioning order
- Set up audiovisual equipment and provide support for live and virtual training, onsite training events and factory schools
- Stay abreast of modern technologies and trends, continuing to build skillsets
- Conduct pre-production Job Risk Analyses, and follow through with safety review cycles to ensure both production events and final content are aligned with safety protocol
- Complete other duties as assigned

- Must have extensive and demonstrated experience in the production and development of instructional and product training video content for distribution across multiple digital channels
- Ability to work in a high volume, production environment that requires flexibility and adaptability to change
- Ability to travel to sites with gear up to 25% of the year
- Detail oriented, self-starter with the ability to work in a team-based atmosphere with high standards for accuracy, quality, and innovation
- Stays on top of assigned work priorities, checking with leadership to clarify, confirm, and strategize for priority, workload, and workflow

To be successful in this role, your experience and competencies are:
- Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field (Digital Media Design, Broadcasting, Journalism, Business Administration, Marketing, Education)
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in video production
- A link to sample portfolio or demo reel
- Proficiency in industry standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Lightroom, Photoshop, Audition, or audio production software
- Experience with professional-grade cameras (e.g., Sony F27, Blackmagic Ursa Mini)
- Experience with lighting, particularly for studio/greenscreen scenarios
- Ability to pull together a crew for production and build relationships in the industry

The employee may occasionally be exposed to varying levels of dirt, dust, toxic or caustic chemicals, very warm and/or very chilly temperatures. The noise level in the shop can be very loud at times consistent with an industrial assembly facility and may require hearing protection.
