Our Industrial Painters earn a starting salary of $20.00 per hour, depending on experience. Industrial Painters 1 or 2 will be applying paint to heavy equipment. Responsible for mixing paints to match standard colors of products and to the proper consistency and viscosity for spraying. Perform finish-coat painting in accordance with special specifications on work where high-grade finish is essential. Our Day Shift hours are Monday-Friday 5:00am-3:30pm

What You'll Do:
• Ensure that safe work practices are followed and adhered to.
• Check production schedule or shop request list and plan work tasks.
• Cleans, sands/grinds, and prepares equipment surfaces for painting.
• Applies primer and finish coats with attention to safety, quality and efficiency.
• Mix and match paint, cleans and maintains spray guns and other painting equipment.
• May work with unpleasant or toxic fumes and materials wearing protective and safety equipment.
• Painter spends a substantial portion of the work time spray painting.
• Wear a mask, fresh air breathing apparatus or other safety equipment as needed, when working with paint products emitting hazardous vapors.
• May occasionally be assigned to other duties for training purposes.

What We Need from You:
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to paint, apply primers, polyurethane, and epoxy with spray guns
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret detailed drawings
• Proficient in promoting safe and healthy work environment
• Notifies supervisor of product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions
• Adheres to established company policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations
