Job Overview
We have put together a very strong package for the right individual to join us as an RN Supervisor. In supporting the nursing department, the RN Supervisor plans, manages, coordinates and evaluates the nursing care provided on a designated shift.

Scheduling: 36 hours per week: 12-hour night shifts, every 3rd weekend, and rotating holidays.
Core Duties
· Consistently guides and directs the performance of safe patient care, problem-solving and decision making based on patient needs and staff capabilities.
· Provides input for the development of policies and procedures to initiate appropriate implementation and actions.
· Demonstrates concern for patients of all ages, visitors and co-workers, maintaining confidentiality of information and privacy compliance.
· Provides for and coordinates nursing care of patients, directly or indirectly, through assessments, development and implementation of care plans and evaluation (Nursing
Process) to ensure safe, quality care.
Core Competencies
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and non-verbal.
- Understanding of the health care system and continuum, including sites of care, delivery
models, and the roles of various providers.
- Proficient computer and telephone skills.
- Familiarity of community resources for qualified patients.
- Principles of leadership.
Key Qualifications
· Current licensure as RN in Minnesota, BLS, ACLS, NRP and CALS or TNCC certifications.
· Graduation from a Registered Nursing education program, continuing education required in nursing-clinical management.
· Must have minimum of 5 years of experience in acute care nursing to include
leadership roles.
