Hiring a Compensation Analyst for a leading company in Life Sciences and Biotechnology, in Alameda, CA.

This is a Hybrid position that will require an Onsite Presence 2-3 days per week in Alameda, CA

6 to 9 month Contract (Dependent on performance, business need, and budget)

Summary:

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Compensation Analyst to support ongoing projects within the compensation group. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting compensation staff in developing and managing compensation programs, documenting policies and procedures to ensure that operational procedures are accurately captured. This role will also be responsible for reviewing data within the CompAnalyst tool to ensure that the application holds accurate information. It will also play a key role in supporting our efforts to complete the configuration of the tool. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support the initiative in developing and administering compensation programs, policies, and procedures

- Analyze compensation data and market trends to ensure competitiveness and compliance with regulatory requirements

- Support the compensation team in job architecture and market analysis projects to ensure appropriate compensation levels are determined for each position

- Provide administrative support to the compensation team as they develop salary structures that align with company objectives and market trends. This may include preparing reports, maintaining records, and providing general assistance

- Assist in the development of detailed compensation reports and analyses

- Current knowledge of legislation and regulations affecting compensation is a plus

- This role can provide and/or gather information for internal compensation staff, which enables the compensation team to provide guidance and advice to HR team members and management on remuneration matters.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field

- 2-3 years of experience in compensation analysis or a related field

- Professional certification (CCP) is preferred

- Experience with financial modeling and analysis

- Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

- Strong organizational and project management skills
