Description:
The Contact Center Agent 1 is responsible for being the first point of contact for our client's customer base. This representative will utilize multiple applications and resources to determine customer requirements, and resolution.
This person will be handling inbound calls from both the US and Canada. Receiving calls from customers, technicians, and other client branches. They will navigate through 4-5 screens on dual monitors to provide ticket numbers, dispatch information and customer information.
Must be able to document each call, be able to document while on the phone with the customer and after they hang up the call they continue to document information from the call.
Must be comfortable asking the candidates probing questions on the call.
Redirect calls for tech support, warranty department, switchboard, billing, and parts as they are not expected to handle those calls.
Must have attention to detail with calls coming from different time zones and dispatching the techs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
-High School Diploma/GED required. -1 years experience in customer service. -Excellent telephone and communications skills. -Basic PC skills required...including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. -Ability to work in and handle a high call volume environment
