Description:
The Controller will provide strategic and operational direction to the finance and accounting function of, enabling the achievement of the organizational objectives. You will drive accurate preparation of the general ledger and its timely reporting, develop robust financial / accounting systems and processes across the organization, implement good corporate governance policies and risk mitigation practices, and develop strong relationships within the finance team across group companies in India and the US. This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer.
• Ensure timely preparation of consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in adherence to accounting standards and standards of corporate governance
• Lead the analysis of business results and relevant KPIs and identify areas for cost optimization and improvement
• Partner with the finance team and founder of the company to ensure that financial plans are aligned with business goals
• Comply with global transfer pricing policies, compliance, and documentation in coordination with regional controllers and external partners.
• Perform M&A due diligence and post-merger integration with potential assets as well as consult on accounting impact of proposed M&A transactions.
• Oversee monthly MIS reporting, receivables follow-ups, payment of taxes, etc.
• Develop and maintain innovative finance and accounting policies
• Drive the timely completion of the annual budgeting process, monthly rolling forecast and plan for working capital requirements for the business
• Preparation of the monthly dashboards and tracking of the actual performance versus the budget and the rolling forecast
• Continuously streamline and enhance back office systems, tooling, and processes to provide superior service to employees.
• Ensure timely payments to vendors / contractors
• Closely supervise and control operating costs at all fronts
• Implement systems and processes to optimize cost
• Develop and maintain systems of internal controls to safeguard the financial assets of the organization
• Oversee and coordinate the activities of internal auditors
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, coach and create high performing teams

High Netsuite experience. Implementation of processes. Ability to streamline and improve processes.

Salary : $60 - $75
