Description:

A well establish Union and Non-Union Construction Company is looking for a Controller to join their team full-time

Responsibilities:

• Manage Banking Relationships – Treasury and Lines of Credit Agreements
• Manage Insurance Relationships for Bonding and General Insurance
• 401K Pension and Profit-Sharing Plan, and other Pension Plan
• Supervise and Manage Union Audits
• Prepare Interim and Year End Financial Statements for five Sub S Corporations
• Prepare various report and schedules for weekly financial meetings
• Manage relationship with CPA Firm for preparation of Company and Officers’ Tax Returns.
• Manage relationship with IT Vendor and Phone Vendor- office and cell
• Manage Billings through various Software Packages and Collections through various Websites
• Manage Compliance of Rules for Certified Payrolls for Unions and Prevailing Wage Rates
• Prepare and/or Review Account Reconciliations.
• Prepare on going ‘Costs to Complete Analysis on ongoing Projects.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 10 years experience in accounting with at least 3 years coming from construction industry
• Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals
• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
