This company is looking to bring on someone with some good experience to fill an opening as a financial analyst. Below are some of the job responsibilities along with some required qualifications
Job Description:
- Ensure accurate revenue recognition and early identification of potential risks.
- Perform the accurate and timely accounting and analysis of all sales discounts, rebates and allowances included in the calculation of gross-to-net revenue.
- Understand key contract provisions and business practices, as it relates to revenues and ensure their accounting impact is properly evaluated.
- Analyze, explain, and meaningfully summarize gross to net variances.
- Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations, as they relate to revenues.
- Prepare gross-to-net management reports for use by finance and commercial decision makers to understand key trends, risks, and accounting judgments in the revenue area.
- Prepare audit schedules and actively participate in the reviews and year-end audit.
- Assist with special ad hoc projects.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Intermediate excel-pivot tables, v and h look ups, sum ifs
- 2 to 4 years’ accounting or finance experience.
- Qualified candidates should have experience working with an ERP system
- Ability to multi-task in a hands-on environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
