Description:
You will be responsible for financial reporting, analytics and budgeting for Consumer global overhead costs. This position demands a mix of strategic, forecasting and transactional capabilities, with a firm understanding of accounting practices including GAAP and IFRS risk management. You will be critical in supporting reporting and tracking of proper accounting, forecasting and will act as main finance liaison across multiple cross functional teams.
Prepare month end variance analytics comparing results to budget, forecast and prior year.
Assist in the monthly close process
Assist in the forecasting and budgeting processes for Global Consumer Audio which consists of over 70 cost centers
Main point of contact for cost center owners to provide analytical information for forecasting and budgeting
Streamline systems to improve ability to analyze complex data and make recommendations
Clearly and concisely communicate financial information to non-financial managers
Ad-hoc reporting, special projects and other department support as needed
Allocate global P&L results to related regions to report and track consolidated regional results
