Fund Accountant Responsibilities:
A leading financial services company is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team in Boston. This role will report into the Vice President of Fund Oversight and Control and is responsible for oversight of custody and fund accounting operations.
- This includes but not limited to NAV error remediation
- Monitoring and distributing closed fund cash balances
- Securities Lending oversight
- Maintenance of procedures controls and checklists
- Assistance on management of audit engagements
Fund Accountant Requirements:
- Equivalent to a B.S. degree in Business, Accounting, or related field
- 5 years of work experience in financial services custody or fund accounting preferably in a management role
- Strong MS Excel skills a must
- A team-oriented individual with strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a rapidly growing, fast paced environment and manage multiple competing priorities with deadlines
