HR Admin  | Frederick, MD | $24.86-$31.08/hr

Provides support to the Human Resources Team with a variety of tasks to assist employees during every phase of their employment, ensuring that all have a positive experience, during recruitment and onboarding process, providing responses to employment and benefits related questions.

An Immediate Start – A 6 month contract to hire role with a growing company, and health benefits! - starting 8/8!

Qualifications:

Associates Degree in Human Resources or 3-5 years’ experience in Human Resources

• Knowledge of the general principles and practices of the HR function as well as understanding of fundamental employment laws such as ADA and FMLA

• Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to speak, read and write Spanish fluently is a plus.

• Proficient computer skills – MS Office – Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint

Experience with HRIS Systems/platforms

• Ability to focus, high level of attention to detail and accuracy of information

• Demonstrate good judgement and problem-solving skills

• Effective organizational and time management including priority setting skills

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities

• Demonstrated ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information

A day in the role…

Monitors and maintains production staffing levels in accordance with established guidelines. Conducts employee orientation sessions and assists with processing all related paperwork.

• Coordinates production recruitment and interview process. Tracks status of candidates in HRIS and works with RPO Vendor

• Assists with on-line and social media site advertising, job fairs and community involvement.

• Coordinates various employee communications via bulletin boards, newsletters, meetings, etc.

• Conduct Stay Interviews during first 90 days of employment, and track responses

• Organizes employee welfare activities such as social events, special benefits, civic involvement, employee recognition, etc.

• Assists with Learning Management System set-up and on-going training recommendations

• Maintains a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in an effective manner with customers, co-workers, clients and supervisors

• Recommend innovative approaches to policies and procedures to effect continual improvement of human resources department and services provided

• May provide support to other HR functions and administrative areas

• Performs other job duties as assigned by supervisor
