What are the responsibilities and job description for the HSE Manager position at Aston Carter?
Description:
- Implement HSE Global policies.
- Prepare and enforce policies to establish a culture of HSE.
- Promotes good practices related to HSE matters by coaching and training all employee.
- Initiates improvements in the area of HSE. Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities or new prevention measures.
- Develops and executes HSE plans in the workplace according to legal guidelines in co work with Site Managers and Global Functions.
- Monitor compliance to policies/laws by inspecting employees, operations, and equipment to observe possible unsafe acts/conditions.
- Evaluates the impact of changes, investments, or repairs in the site from the point of view of HSE impact.
- Conduct training and presentations for HSE matters and accident prevention and also Go & See Activities
- Responsible for accident / incident or occupational illness analysis and to define the corrective actions.
- Controls observance of HSE requirements in the plant and reports non-conformance
- Represents the legal entity in front of authorities in HSE matters, HS Committee, employee representatives.
- Plans and conducts audits and HSE related surveys.
- Supervises the HSE related documentation and activities.
- To report on HSE awareness, issues, and statistics.
- Responsible of HSE Management Systems certifications.

• Bachelors Degree
• Postgraduate in Occupational Health, Safety and/or Environment.
• ISO 14000 & 45000 / EMAS knowledge
• Fluent in English
