What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Generalist position at Aston Carter?
Description:
• Administers health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations. Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions (including LOA paperwork processing). Reconciles benefits statements.
• Is the first point of contact for all HR-related requests and questions. Working with production supervisors to oversee all elements of employee relations
• Create general performance management documents and compile reports/data as needed for Operations and Human Resources
• Review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments with web-based training modules.
• Implement new hire orientation and employee recognition programs
• Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute HR programs including compensation, payroll, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, disputes, employee performance, talent management
• Conducts full-cycle recruitment and interview process. Tracks the status of candidates in HRIS.
• Schedules interviews.
• Maintains the HRIS platform.
• Supports HR Director with employee relations issues, including investigations, disciplinary action, and other matters as required.
• Coaching and training employees at all levels
• Motivating and challenging a diverse workforce
• Staying informed and abreast of changes that affect employment law and compliance
• Creating and overseeing performance appraisal processes
• Liaison with management on matters pertaining to compensation plans
• Creating and providing reports to management on HR metrics that impact the organization.
• Partnering with management to affect change and improvement within the organization.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- 4 years of HR Generalist Experience
- Full Cycle Recruitment Experience
- Strong in Employee Compliance/Relations
-Bachelors Degree in HR or Similar Field
- Bilingual in Spanish
-PHR Cert
- Experience with Paylocity
