Description
This position has direct involvement in the quality of inbound shipments, process improvements, and vendor operational performance.
Principal Duties
Resolves receiving damages, issues, and discrepancies; including over and under PO receipts
Reviews and disposition of designated unavailable inventory codes, process returns to vendors, and follow-up on credits owed/replacement product
File, track, pursue, and follow-up on freight & small parcel claims resulting from incoming shipment damages
Reduce PO discrepancies that negatively impact customer experience and vendor payments
Performs inventory adjustments within guidelines for IC Team
Supporting Duties
Confirms stock POs
Resolves Salesforce tasks
Resolves invoice discrepancies related to quantity and product
Dispositions Lot Control/expirable inventory
Expedites open stock POs with vendors (utilizing stock PO Expediting Report), prioritizing backordered products and late POs, maintaining delivery date information and notes
Works closely with Inventory Control Manager (ICM), Inventory Control department, and other departments to ensure communication of ETA stocking dates for inventory.
Handles defective/recalled products
Helps create and maintain Procedures that correspond to Principal Duties
Supply input in Inventory Control Reporting (vendor scorecards)
Supports other IC Team members
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
1 year of experience in supply chain activities such as inventory control, supply chain management
Vendor Relations and distribution experience a plus
Proficiency in MS Office
Self-motivated, highly detailed, and good communication skills
Salesforce a plus
