Description:
You will be responsible for managing and executing logistics/transportation approach in a manner that supports overall strategy. As the Logistics Analyst, you will be directly assisting with the conversion of legacy system into a new ERP System. The individual must quickly adapt and understand the process for daily creation and management of orders. Continuously analyze data and processes to measure and improve performance and productivity. You will work with cross functional teams to proactively identify areas of risk and solve supply chain problems of varying scope and complexity.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
• Direct and coordinate project to improve cost, quality and service which could include meeting with multiple stakeholders and leading multifunctional project teams. • Ensures products, components and/or supplies are shipped, distributed, or received in an efficient manner within the Redmond plant and Stryker partners. • Create shipping documents such as commercial invoices and schedules domestic and international logistics movements for several modes of transportation (truck, air, ocean). • Ensures the structure of all logistics and delivery programs meet Department of Transportation (DOT), International Air Transport Association (IATA), FDA Compliance, safety and international trade including regulations. • Contribute to business development and integration of systems (ERP, WMS, internal/external programs).
• Communicate and present ideas, projects, and metrics to the appropriate people in the organization, including executives, customers, and strategic suppliers. • Executes plans and identifies issues or obstacles, gains alignment and brings to resolution.
• Actively participate in the ongoing development of a corporate culture that strives to achieve the highest ethical standards. This is accomplished by conducting all business affairs ethically and lawfully and by ensuring open, honest communication without fear of retaliation.
