Description:
Review EMR to reconcile ER charges and capture charges for inpatient charges
Complete Excel spreadsheet to be given to clients for entry into billing systems
Coding accounts into system and appropriately assigning the DRG on inpatient accounts
Have familiarity with PICIS, CERNER, and EPIC EMR's
Skills:
Medical coding, Icd-10, Inpatient coding, Coding, emr
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
2-3 years of charge capture and inpatient coding experience
Experience with coding and billing of injections and infusions
RHIT or CCS certification
