I am actively hiring for an OVERNIGHT team lead position with a top hospital in Philadelphia!
REGULAR HOURS: 11pm-7:30am
TRAINING HOURS: Initial 6 weeks of training during the day: 8:00am-4:00pm or 2:30pm-11:00 pm
Must haves:
- medical terminology
- 1 year of leadership in past/current positions
- customer service
- proficiency in computers (Microsoft functions)

Description: The Overnight Lead is a communication specialist who is responsible to make sure the flow of of the shift is running smoothly. They are responsible for their staff of 5 on shift, that all their calls and codes are done correctly and diligently up to hospital standards. Exhibit behaviors such as timeliness, correcting errors in real time, keeping up with hospital standards and changes, able to provide training, speak to associates and give feedback, review and analyze reporting data. The lead will have to take calls as well depending on how busy it is, or if they are short staffed.
- Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values.
- Provides ongoing call monitoring and staffing assignments using metrics from the Spok system
- Participates in special projects and key initiatives to support of the department or organization
- Monitor the staff schedule for any gaps in coverage, including assisting with finding coverage for call outs and updating the on-call schedule
- Providing Service Excellence to all callers internal and external
- Utilized all available resources so calls are directed timely and accurately
- Makes outbound calls when follow-up is needed
- Ensures urgent calls are handled with priority and escalation processes are utilized when necessary
- Communicates effectively with patients, physicians and other departments regarding delays
- Practices de-escalation and service recovery methods
- Consistently achieve team metric standards and expectations
